Carer KaFÉ Presentation at IFCO

Darwin Paula at How to Thrive presentation 2

Paula White from Carer KaFÉ & Marie McLeod from ThriveAbility were delighted to have around 100 delegates come along to the How to Thrive Darwin conference presentation.  They were fortunate to have Lucy – a Permanent carer who completed the 8-week carer wellbeing program earlier this year – provide authenticity from having the courage to join them on stage and speak passionately about the positive changes in her life as a result of what she had learned from immersing herself in the BEACON framework for thriving (Belonging, Engagement, Accountability, Compassion, Optimism, Nurture).  There was a great deal of interest from delegates right across Australia enquiring about bringing this wellness program to their workplaces and carer groups. The next intake for How to Thrive is starting in November, so register your interest now with Carer KaFÉ.
