As a peak body focussed on giving voice to human rights and the protections of those who are impacted by decision making at the highest levels, the FCAV encourages all Victorians to vote Yes .

The FCAV stands with First Nations carers, sector colleagues, and counterparts to support a Voice to Parliament, protected by the Constitution, so that agreement-making and truth-telling can finally be done on equal terms.

The Uluru Statement from the Heart issues a gracious and inclusive invitation to all Australians to join Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples on the journey to a more equitable and just community.

We take this position knowing that the Out of Home Sector has a complex relationship for generations of First Nations families across Victoria and throughout this Nation, having, until recent years, failed to embed the voice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in determining the best interests of their children and young people.
