National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

13 May - 6 Jun - Reconciliation Week - The Torch Confined 12 Exhibition
Presented by The Torch, the Confined 12 exhibition includes artworks by Indigenous artists currently in or recently released from prisons in Victoria. Featuring more than 300 artworks, Confined 12 presents a strong visual metaphor for the over-representation of Aboriginal people in the criminal justice system.
27 May - Reconciliation Week - Springvale
Come and join us on the day for a one day event of performances and workshops! The Full Day Program is open to the whole community but some afternoon workshops are specifically for First Nations families.

The event will include a Welcome to Country, speeches, lunch and entertainment including a closing performance from Indigenous Outreach Projects that you will not want to miss!

29 May - Ngulu Festival 2021
Ngulu Festival is the Official Opening of The Creation Story Mural and Soundscape at Yarra Valley ECOSS. We are proud to host one of the first Wurundjeri Mural’s and Soundscapes of it’s kind in Yarra Ranges Council on Wurundjeri Country.
30 May - Reconciliation Planting with Indigenous Cultural Plants
This is a cultural celebration of the food, fibre and medicine plants used by the First Australians. Connect with Country by getting your hands in the ground.
30 May - Reconciliation Walk - Mornington Peninsula
Join us, the Aboriginal community of Mornington Peninsula for a leisurely stroll in the spirit of Reconciliation. The walk begins at Pelican Park on the Hastings Foreshore at 11am & Proceeds to our Gathering Place at 10c Pound Road, Hastings.
30 May - Reconciliation Gathering - Coburg
The program includes Welcome (Tanderrum) from Wurundjeri Elders, the Djirri Djirri Dancers singing to country and talks.
