The FCAV through Carer KaFE presents the webinar "Impact of Neglect" with Annette Jackson, researcher with Latrobe University and in collaboration with Dr. Bruce Perry.

In addition to other forms of abuse, children and young people entering out of home care may also have been subjected to neglect in their previous home situations. Serious neglect has a profound impact on a child or young person’s developmental wellbeing. We discuss ways foster carers and Care Teams can provide an environment of understanding, trust and flexibility that can assist meet the care needs of children and young people who have experienced neglect.
