Shortlisted Finalists!

Instances of great foster carer support are golden in a complex system. They can make or break a positive placement for foster carers and the children and young people in their homes. Therefore, these awards give foster carers the opportunity to acknowledge an instance of receiving great support.

Submissions will be selected by our Care Advocates based on exemplary support to carers' day to day, or, exceptional support in exceptional circumstances.

Thankyou to the 31 carers who took the time to make some exceptional nominations of workers who had shown great personal investment in providing support to them in their caring role.

We're thrilled to announce this year's SHORTLIST in alphabetical order. Congratulations and thankyou for your commitment to supporting carers in their role to:

  • Gemma Barton - Key Assets

  • Tara Dunn - MacKillop Family Services

  • Jessica Savy - Anglicare Victoria

  • Tahlia Wilson-Hansen - Meli

  • Jessica Wright - The Circle Program (a partnership between OzChild and Australian Childhood Foundation)

We look forward to announcing the final awardees at the FCAV AGM & Carer Celebration in Ballarat during Foster Care Week.
